What you'll do
As CNC Machinist, you will play a key role in ensuring the manufacturing of the prototypes and small batch production of parts linked to the development of new products. In the early stages of development, the team will not always be prepared for every variable of the process and therefore you will need to collaborate with them to guide through the viability of the project, understanding their needs and always working to deliver the prototypes as fast as possible with great quality. The tasks will not only be about machining parts, you will also need to be willing to work with different processes such as welding, assembling components, drawing fixtures and improving not only laboratory capabilities but processes as well. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional IoT solutions to industries worldwide.
Responsibilities
Produce prototypes and parts on conventional lathe and CNC milling machine, being able to not only operate them but also programing the machining with CAM;
Organizing and maintaining of the lab, ensuring its operation when needed;
Maintain the stock of consumables, tools and raw materials;
Conference of technical drawings and collaborate with requiring teams to improve documentation;
Analyzing and performing simple 3D and 2D drawings on CAD;
Update and keep up to date with scheduled events and requests, always notifying the requester to events or changes in the schedule,
Work with simple weldments demands.
Requirements
Course degree as a Mechanical Technician, Machining Technician, Milling or Lathe CNC programing and operation or correlated areas;
Minimum 3 years of experience as Mechanical Technician;
Knowledge of work safety regulations and principles;
Experience with mechanical manufacturing processes, being able to produce advanced parts without supervision;
Knowledge in working with special materials such as stainless steel, engineering polymers and hard materials;
Experience with metrology equipments;
Experience with MIG/MAG welding process,
Basic CAD knowledge, performing simple inspections and drawings.
Bonus Points
4th of 5th Axis Machining;
Experience with TIG welding process for aluminum and stainless steel;
Tooling dies and mold machining for injection;
Basic English understanding,
Fusion 360.
